Training and support

The Gatsby Science Enhancement Programme (SEP) aims to support teachers in the effective use of practical work and active approaches to teaching and learning. SEP produces innovative resource materials and offer our own programme of CPD support, provided by our team of Professional Development Leads.

CPD support from SEP

Our professional development programme supports teachers and technicians involved in 11-19 education who wish to develop their subject knowledge and practical expertise.

Our support is:

  • sponsored by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation and is therefore free to teachers
  • bespoke - starting from where you and your science team are, and working with you to design an appropriate support programme to meet your curriculum needs
  • on-going - we can arrange follow on support, so it’s not just a one-off training session, but part of a planned interaction.
